The School Management

The school has a range of policies that assist its management and these are supported by the Arbury Park Outdoor School Council. The Council is strongly involved in management of the school, and works collaboratively with staff on school development priorities, land management strategies and staffing issues. As the school has no permanent parent community, the Council has been specially constituted, and draws its membership from a range of organisations, including

• Department of Education and Children's Services
• Ecologically Sustainable Development Unit (DECS)
• South Australian Association of State School Organisations
• Local school community
• Adelaide Hills Council
• Landcare/Water catchment care groups

Sub-committees of council are finance and grounds. All staff have opportunities to participate in these.
